ELIFRANCE * (till 21/07/2010) is situated in a historical place near Saint-Etienne. In 1941, CRC (Constructions radioélectriques du centre) opened a site of electronic competence. In 1971, Schlumberger acquired CRC to develop the instrumentation activity automatic test equipment (ATE). Both design and manufacturing. In 2003 Flextronics Group, 2nd World’s company in Electronic Manufacturing Services (ems), has overtaken the facility to Schlumberger. In July 2010, a change of shareholders has seen the creation of a new entity, ELIFRANCE. The strategy of ELIFRANCE is twofold: – First of all, continue and improve competence core, the ems via the division ELIFRANCE ems. Indeed, ELIFRANCE is a qualified partner for the production of electronic systems, being active in the entire supply-chain, from design to industrialization, manufacturing, logistic and after sales services. – Second, ELIFRANCE has decided to use its know-how in order to deal with the solar market thanks to its new division, ELIFRANCE Energy. Until the end of 2010, ELIFRANCE will have a capacity of photovoltaic modules in mono and polycrystalline silicon with a yearly production of 20MW and a future of 30MW in 2011. Company’s headquarter is situated in Saint-Etienne (Loire) with 150 employees and a factory of more than 6000 Sqm.
